A noodle to doodle
Someone asked me today (regarding this strip) if I draw. I do, but not well. When I was a student I doodled a lot. I started to really improve at it but then I started my work and I haven't tried since. I have some vision for color and layout, and have exhibited potential in expressing ideas and themes graphically, but I completely lack technique. Sometimes I wonder if I had drawn for fun as a child if I'd be able to draw well now. My dad can... (stay tuned to CamoBunny's Corner for a future post about the mad artistic skillz in my bloodline).
If I had talent and technique in the graphic arts, I'd be so all over that. But since I don't, I settle for this comic strip using the prefabricated characters here on the Strip Generator. This, and my highly stylized, graceful signature, which I bestow upon document after document each day. No, I cannot show you!
Maybe someday I'll learn! What would I do if I could draw? Currently my dream job is to be a cartoon voice actor. If I could draw, would I be a cartoon artist? Probably not. But design, that would be cool. Now I'm rambling. Because I'm procrastinating.
