Excitement
Comments:
Until now, I can't understand the motivation of the sumo wrestler. Rage is certainly not one of the fuels of such giants even when in matches. But hey, this sumo is different - way too different.
Hmm, I never thought of Gaul as a sumo wrestler until you mentioned it. In my mind he's just a bitter guy who happens to be large and brutish.
His excitement in this strip is intentionally ambiguous. Is he excited because Christmas is coming, or because he's about to begin a tirade? Does he mention these things because he actually likes them, or are they the things he hates?
I haven't decided yet. Tune in later to find out if I ever do.

A noodle to doodle
Someone asked me today (regarding this strip) if I draw. I do, but not well. When I was a student I doodled a lot. I started to really improve at it but then I started my work and I haven't tried since. I have some vision for color and layout, and have exhibited potential in expressing ideas and themes graphically, but I completely lack technique. Sometimes I wonder if I had drawn for fun as a child if I'd be able to draw well now. My dad can... (stay tuned to CamoBunny's Corner for a future post about the mad artistic skillz in my bloodline).
If I had talent and technique in the graphic arts, I'd be so all over that. But since I don't, I settle for this comic strip using the prefabricated characters here on the Strip Generator. This, and my highly stylized, graceful signature, which I bestow upon document after document each day. No, I cannot show you!
Maybe someday I'll learn! What would I do if I could draw? Currently my dream job is to be a cartoon voice actor. If I could draw, would I be a cartoon artist? Probably not. But design, that would be cool. Now I'm rambling. Because I'm procrastinating.

Unnatural
Comments:
Have you ever been walkin' around, doing your thing, when someone decides to tell you that you ought to smile? Isn't it unnatural? It used to bother me a lot, for if I felt like smiling, wouldn't I already be smiling?

I just discovered that if someone's contrast is turned up high on their monitor, they can't see the background I have on this page.
How is anyone supposed to understand what I'm saying if they can't understand the BACKGROUND and the themes UNDERLYING these strips? Plus, I think it makes it look kinda cool.
Oh, maybe it's better this way anyway. Some things have more of an impact if they are a fortuitous late "discovery".

well, in context, i think shriveled up beef jerky works, but probably only in context. you have to read the entire background, or at least the surrounding sentence.
come to think of it, what kind of beef jerky isn't shriveled up?

You have many talents to go with your many blogs. It's no longer the internet, it's the camoweb, and it works a treat.
